Blank! Opening hours around these parts are not quite what Ariel is accustomed to.

St Roch Kitchen, where to start?

Ariel laughs at herself and her culinary skills, or lack of…. cooking classes required…. French perhaps…. A start will be the books on the shelf in the cupboard.

What to cook? What ingredients? Where to get the ingredients? When CAN you get the ingredients, leading her back to ‘the watch’!

It would be rather nice to match meals with the lovely wines she is discovering for St Roch.

Look out, cooking posts might appear at some point. But for NOW, she has enough on her plate, adjusting to her new world, looking for an appropriate wine and preparing St Roch and its garden for summer and events.

Now, Ariel’s off to tuck into one of her locally grown apples….
